castle that insprired walt disney for beauty and the beast
today we went to segovia. the bus left at 8:30 am and we didn't get back until a little before 9pm. it was a very long day. segovia is very beautiful. i took tons of pictures. we visited a castle that inspired walt disney to make the castle in beauty and the beast. it was gorgeous. we went on a tour inside the castle and then around town. segovia also has a huge aqua duct that was built in the year 200! it was beautiful as well. we had free time after the tour to explore the city, have lunch, and do a little shopping. after lunch there weren't too many places that were open because of siesta. we then went to a famous garden in segovia. it had a beautiful palace, and a ton of open land from where the kings used to go hunting. there were all sorts of fountains, flowers, and a bunch of nature. one thing i noticed about segovia is how narrow the streets are. when you are walking down the sidewalk and a car passes you could literall stick your arm out and touch the driver. i almost couldn't believe it. it was a really good time, but by the end of the day i was exhausted.
i just had dinner. we had soup, meat, a cooked red pepper, and yogurt for dessert. it was pretty good.
